Difference between HTML5 and PHP







HTML stands for HyperText Markup    Language.


HTML is a client-side scripting language.


 It is used to develop static pages with added features.


HTML5 comes with new features which provide an easy way to develop web pages.



It defines attributes such as web page appearance.



HTML5 is used to define how the website page would appear in the browser in terms of its content, links, color scheme, text, fonts etc.

PHP stands for Hypertext Preprocessor.


PHP is a server-side scripting language.


It is used to develop dynamic pages, it means PHP is added interactivity and dynamism to static pages developed in HTML.

PHP provides a database to maintain the data.



It defines the function of the web page.



PHP is used to perform the calculations, linking to the database, controlling the login and registration.
