What is HTML?

HTML stands for Hyper Text Mark Up Language. HTML is a Scripting Language used for web development process.

HTML was created by Berners-Lee in 1991.

HTML 2.0 was published in 1995.

HTML 4.01 was published in 1999.

HTML 5 was published in 2012 and it is the latest version till date.

What is PHP?

PHP originally stands for Personal Home Page. But now it stands for Hypertext Preprocessor. 

PHP code may be embedded into HTML, or it can be used in combination with various web template systems ,web content management systems and web frameworks.

PHP Development was started in 1994 by Rasmus Lerdorf.

PHP 1.0 was released on June 8 1995.

PHP 2 was released in November 1997.

PHP 3 in 1997. PHP 4 in June 1998.

PHP 5 was released on July 14 2004.

PHP 6 in 2005.

PHP 7 was released on December 3 2015.

The latest version PHP 7.3 was released on 6th December 2018.

What is New in HTML 5?

HTML 5 is the update made to HTML from HTML 4. 
It uses the same basic rules as HTML 4 but adds some new tags and attributes which allow for better semantics and for dynamic elements that are activated using JavaScript. 

What is New in PHP 7?

PHP 7 is benchmarks for consistently showing speeds twice as fast as PHP 5.6 and many times even faster. 

Type declarations is specifying which type of variable is being set instead of allowing PHP to set this automatically.
